Carol-Anne Macdonald is a caring, dedicated, and compassionate Speech Therapist and Audiologist. She obtained her BA Speech and Hearing Therapy Hons degree from WITS University. After competing her community service year in a clinic in Soweto, she worked in an acute hospital setting as well as a school setting for a private practice. She became the senior Speech Therapist and Audiologist and later the practice manager in Johannesburg. She then moved to Ballito with her family including her husband, their three boys and her parents.

She is dedicated to her profession and attends many courses to upskill.
She acquired specialised training in aural rehabilitation for children with cochlear implants and in dysphagia management.

Carol-Anne puts great effort into building relationships with both the professionals with whom she works and her patients together with their families.

Having such a busy family of her own, she understands the expression “it takes a village to raise children” and it is a privilege to be part of Village Health, a wonderful environment and a supportive community that understands the importance of communication and patients’ needs.
